IDTA dance classes in Surrey
Ballet, Tap, Theatre Craft and Street exams assessed by qualified IDTA examiners

Exams are optional and held with IDTA examiners in Ballet, Tap, Theatre Craft and Street at the end of each term, following a structured syllabus that builds technique, confidence and a sense of achievement, with certificates, medals and trophies awarded. Exams also link to UCAS tariff points via a student's ULN.
The timetable is created at least four weeks before the exam date, with students entered in groups of 2-8 candidates depending on grade and genre.
Students must wear the correct, clean and well-fitted class uniform, with hair styled as required, no headbands (ribbons are supplied for theatre exams), and no semi-permanent tattoos, nail varnish or jewellery.
Arrive at least 30 minutes early in full uniform. Depending on the venue, parents may need to drop off and collect rather than wait during the exam.
Results follow 4-6 weeks after the exam date. Parents are usually asked to come back five minutes early to class for the presentation.
